Job Description – Assistant Restaurant Manager (ARM)

Reports To: Restaurant Manager / F&B; Manager

Job Purpose

To assist in managing the restaurant operations, ensure excellent guest service, maintain service standards, and support the team in achieving operational and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day restaurant operations.
- Ensure smooth and efficient food and beverage service.
- Welcome and interact with guests and ensure their satisfaction.
- Handle guest feedback, requests, and complaints professionally.
- Supervise and guide F&B; service staff during operations.
- Allocate duties and ensure proper staffing as per business requirements.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily operational requirements.
- Ensure restaurant setup, cleanliness, hygiene, and grooming standards are maintained.
- Monitor food and beverage quality and presentation.
- Coordinate with Kitchen, Stewarding, Front Office, and other departments for smooth operations.
- Monitor table reservations, special requests, VIP guests, and events.
- Ensure accurate order taking, billing, and POS procedures.
- Monitor stock levels of F&B; service items and coordinate with Stores as required.




- Control wastage and ensure proper handling of equipment and operating supplies.
- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, food safety, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Assist in staff training, coaching, and performance monitoring.
- Prepare and maintain required operational reports and checklists.
- Support banquet and special events whenever required.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in achieving guest satisfaction and departmental targets.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the HOD or management.

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent.
- Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in F&B; Service, preferably in a hotel or restaurant.

Pay: ₹15,568.56 - ₹38,269.21 per month
