French Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and experienced IGCSE French Teacher to teach French across secondary and senior secondary levels. The candidate should have robust proficiency in French, excellent communication skills, and experience delivering the Cambridge IGCSE French curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging French language lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.
- Teach French language, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Prepare students effectively for Cambridge IGCSE French examinations.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, assessments, and learning resources.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
- Develop students' oral communication, pronunciation, comprehension, and writing skills.
- Introduce students to French culture, literature, traditions, and contemporary society.
- Use interactive, communicative, and student-centred teaching methodologies.
- Integrate digital learning tools, multimedia, and technology into language instruction.
- Provide differentiated instruction to support students with varying levels of proficiency.
- Maintain accurate academic and assessment records.
- Collaborate with parents, coordinators, and other teachers to support student development.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school activities, language events, and professional development programmes.

Required Qualification





- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in French / French Literature / Foreign Languages.
- B.Ed. / teaching qualification preferred.
- Strong proficiency in French and English.
- Previous experience teaching IGCSE / Cambridge curriculum preferred.
- Experience preparing students for Cambridge IGCSE examinations is an advantage.
