Role : Senior DevOps Engineer (5 - 9 Years Experience)

Role Overview :

Our client is seeking a Senior DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer with 5 to 9 years of experience to lead, design, and modernize our cloud infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines. In this role, you will act as a key architect and practitioner across our Azure cloud ecosystem, enterprise Kubernetes environments, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tooling.

You will be responsible for building secure, scalable multi-stage CI/CD pipelines, driving zero-downtime microservice deployments on AKS, establishing reusable Terraform modules, and automating complex cloud operations with Python and Shell/PowerShell.

Cloud & CI/CD (Azure & Azure DevOps) :

- Pipeline Engineering : Design, build, and maintain production-grade, secure multi-stage YAML pipelines in Azure DevOps for complex multi-tier applications.

- Release & Branching Strategy : Establish and enforce robust Git branching strategies (e.g., GitFlow, Trunk-Based Development) and governance for source control and release management.

- Native Azure Management : Architect and manage enterprise Azure services including Azure Virtual Networks, App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vaults, Private Endpoints, and Identity & Access Management (IAM/RBAC).

Containerization & Kubernetes (Docker & AKS) :

- Cluster Management : Provision, harden, and operate production-ready Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, ensuring high availability, observability, and cost optimization.

- Container Optimization : Author production-ready, security-scanned multi-stage Dockerfiles to minimize image footprints and attack surfaces.

- Application Delivery :



Packaging and managing complex microservice deployments using Helm charts and values files tailored to target environments.

- Networking & Security : Implement and maintain K8s network policies, Ingress Controllers (NGINX/AGIC), service meshes, TLS certificate management, and secret integration.

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) :

- Modular IaC : Author and maintain clean, modular, and reusable Terraform configurations for multi-environment Azure landing zones.

- State Management : Enforce robust state-management patterns using remote backend storage, state locking, state splitting, and secure secret handling.

- Governance & Standards : Implement automated linting, policy-as-code checks, and drift detection mechanisms.

Automation & Tooling (Python, Bash, PowerShell) :

- Advanced Scripting : Develop automated operational workflows, health checks, and system maintenance tasks using robust Bash or PowerShell scripts.

- SDK/API Integration : Write Python scripts leveraging the Azure SDK and REST APIs to create custom automation tools, reporting scripts, and pipeline extensions.

Soft Skills & Leadership Expectation :

- Problem Solving : Proven ability to troubleshoot complex cloud networking, container orchestrations, and deployment issues under operational timelines.

- Collaboration & Governance : Robust communication skills to partner with Software Engineering, Cyber Security, and Enterprise Architecture teams.

- Mentorship : Ability to mentor mid-level/junior engineers and conduct code reviews for Terraform, YAML pipelines, and scripts.

- Security Mindset : Deep understanding of DevSecOps practices embedding shift-left security checks, secret scanning, and compliance into daily workflows.

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
