Job Summary

Hamdaz Technologies is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Costing & Finance Officer to support the company’s costing, financial reporting, budgeting, expense monitoring, and day-to-day finance operations. The role requires close coordination with the finance, procurement, sales, and project teams to ensure accurate costing and effective financial control.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare cost estimates, cost sheets, and pricing calculations for projects and business activities.
- Monitor and analyze material, labour, procurement, and operational costs.
- Assist in preparing project-wise budgets and financial forecasts.
- Track actual expenses against approved budgets and identify variances.
- Prepare regular costing and financial reports for management.
- Assist in calculating project profitability and margins.
- Review purchase orders, supplier quotations, invoices, and expense documents.
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams for accurate cost allocation.
- Maintain records of project-related expenses and commitments.
- Assist with accounts payable, receivable, and payment documentation.
- Support monthly and annual financial closing activities.
- Monitor outstanding payments and coordinate with relevant teams when required.
- Assist in bank reconciliation and other routine accounting activities.




- Maintain proper financial records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Support management in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Follow company accounting policies and financial procedures.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, costing, or commercial operations.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting and costing principles.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
