Senior Interior Designer – Job Responsibilities

- Understand client requirements, lifestyle, preferences, functional needs, budget, and project expectations before starting the design process.
- Develop creative and practical interior design concepts for residential, commercial, and other interior projects.
- Prepare detailed space planning, furniture layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, and other technical drawings.
- Create 2D and 3D design presentations, renders, mood boards, and visual concepts to clearly communicate design ideas to clients.
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, colors, fabrics, and decorative elements according to the project requirements.
- Prepare material specifications and ensure that selected materials are suitable for the design, quality standards, budget, and site conditions.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect ongoing work and ensure that execution is being carried out according to approved designs and drawings.
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, site supervisors, vendors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other professionals involved in the project.
- Review site measurements and existing site conditions before preparing or finalizing design drawings.
- Prepare and review BOQs, material requirements, quantity estimates, and design-related cost information in coordination with the concerned team.
- Present design concepts, layouts, material selections, and 3D visualizations to clients and incorporate reasonable feedback into the design.
- Make necessary design revisions based on client feedback while maintaining functionality, aesthetics, budget, and project timelines.
- Ensure that all design drawings and documents are accurate, detailed, and properly coordinated before sending them for execution.
- Monitor the quality of interior work at the site and identify deviations from approved drawings, specifications, or design standards.




- Resolve design and execution-related issues at the site by coordinating with the concerned technical and execution teams.
- Assist in estimating project costs and selecting materials and design solutions that provide value while staying within the approved budget.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding materials, furniture, fixtures, finishes, and other interior requirements.
- Review samples, finishes, colors, textures, and materials before final approval and installation.
- Ensure proper coordination between different services such as electrical, plumbing, lighting, false ceiling, flooring, carpentry, and other interior works.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and ensure that design deliverables, client approvals, and site requirements are completed within the scheduled timelines.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, material selections, client approvals, specifications, and other project-related documents.
- Guide and supervise junior interior designers and provide technical and creative support whenever required.
- Review the work of junior designers to ensure accuracy, design consistency, quality, and adherence to project requirements.
- Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, technologies, finishes, furniture styles, and industry developments.
- Visit material markets, showrooms, and suppliers to explore new products, materials, finishes, and design solutions.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, vendors, contractors, architects, and other project stakeholders.
- Participate in client meetings, project discussions, presentations, and site meetings as required.
- Identify potential design or execution issues in advance and take appropriate corrective measures to avoid delays and additional costs.
- Ensure that the final executed project reflects the approved design concept and meets the expected standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics.
- Prepare regular project updates and coordinate with management regarding project progress, client feedback, site issues, material requirements, and pending decisions.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
