Position: Proposal Engineer – Solar

Experience: 6–7 Years

Industry: Solar EPC / Renewable Energy

Key Responsibilities

Prepare techno-commercial proposals for Rooftop & Ground-Mounted Solar PV projects under CAPEX, OPEX & Group Captive models.

Perform detailed electricity bill analysis for:

Solar Plant Capacity Sizing

Landed & Base Tariff Calculations

BESS Capacity Requirements

Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and project documentation.

Maintain project and lead data in Zoho CRM while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

Analyze technical and commercial proposals to evaluate project feasibility.

Prepare BESS modelling and simulation studies for optimized system performance.

Verify Bill of Materials (BOM)



based on client requirements and site survey reports.

Coordinate with Sales, Design, Engineering, Procurement, and Project teams for proposal preparation.

Provide technical-commercial support during client discussions and proposal submissions.

Required Skills

✅ Strong knowledge of Rooftop & Ground Mounted Solar PV systems

✅ Experience with CAPEX, OPEX & Group Captive business models

✅ BESS Modelling & Simulation expertise

✅ Electricity bill analysis & tariff calculations

✅ Solar project costing & BOM preparation

✅ Advanced MS Excel & analytical skills

✅ Working knowledge of Zoho CRM

✅ Excellent communication and coordination skills

Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or any relevant Engineering discipline.
