Key responsibilities (text) • Oversee People & Culture (P&C;/ Human Resources) responsibilities for the assigned market comprising of all the IKEA units spanning between Mumbai and Pune.

- Secure consistent execution of people processes, frameworks and initiatives across the market.
- Lead, coach and develop the Unit P&C; teams for securing a high-performing People & Culture function across the market.
- Partner with the Market Manager and the Leadership teams in driving the people agenda to support consistent coworker experience, business growth, operational excellence and expansion.




- Collaborate with the business leaders to identify current and future workforce needs and secure effective workforce planning, recruitment and retention.
- Lead talent and succession planning across the market and support leaders in identifying, developing and retaining diverse talent.
- Coach and support the leaders on effective implementation of people processes with focus on performance management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, co-worker engagement, change management and Total Rewards.
- Drive Equity, Diversity and Inclusion priorities for the market with strong focus on maintaining the defined gender balance, and an inclusive workplace for all coworkers.
- Manage and oversee matters of labour compliances, concerns and appeals, disciplinary matters and related areas of coworker relations with support from the Coworker Relations expert.
- Partner with business leaders in creating and sustaining a psychologically safe work environment in the market.
- Manage and oversee employer branding activities in the market with support from the Employer branding country team.
- Lead and drive initiatives of organizational changes and business transformation from people perspective including overall change management and solid internal communication.
- Act as the key People & Culture partner and escalation point within the market, collaborating closely with Market Area P&C; Manager, Centres of Expertise Manger and P&C; Location Operational Services Manager to deliver business results.
