Job Purpose

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Surveyor – Civil to independently manage surveying, setting-out, levels, measurements and site survey activities for a large residential township project. The role will support building construction, villas, bungalows, plotted development, roads, drainage, utilities and other infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities

1. Survey & Setting-Out

- Conduct land and construction surveys using Total Station, Auto Level, DGPS/GPS and other surveying instruments.
- Establish and maintain benchmarks, reference points, grid lines and coordinates.
- Carry out setting-out for buildings, villas, bungalows, roads, drains, utilities, plots, boundary walls and infrastructure.
- Verify alignment, coordinates, levels, dimensions and elevations as per approved drawings.

2. Construction Survey

- Provide survey support for excavation, foundations, RCC, masonry, finishing and external development works.
- Conduct plinth, floor, column, slab, road formation and infrastructure level checks.
- Monitor verticality, alignment and levels during construction.
- Identify deviations and report them to the Project/Construction team.

3. Township & Infrastructure Survey

- Survey and monitor internal roads, storm-water drains, sewerage, water supply, utility corridors and electrical services.
- Support plotting layouts,



including plot boundaries, dimensions, road widths and levels.
- Verify site conditions against master plans, layout plans and engineering drawings.

4. Measurement & Quantity Support

- Prepare survey measurements, area calculations and level sheets.
- Assist the Projects/QS team with joint measurements and contractor measurements.
- Maintain field books, survey records, coordinates and as-built information.

5. Drawing & Documentation

- Read and interpret civil, structural, architectural and infrastructure drawings.
- Maintain survey sketches, coordinates, benchmarks, level charts and as-built drawings.
- Ensure survey documentation is accurate and updated.

6. Quality & Coordination

- Coordinate with Project Managers, Civil Engineers, Architects, Consultants, Contractors and QA/QC teams.
- Ensure survey activities comply with approved drawings and project standards.
- Conduct regular checks to minimise rework due to incorrect levels, alignment or setting-out.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.
- Additional certification/course in Land Surveying will be an advantage.

Experience

- 5–10 years of relevant experience in surveying/construction.
- Experience with a real estate developer, EPC/construction company or large township project preferred.
- Experience in residential buildings, township development, infrastructure and plotted layouts preferred.
- Robust hands-on experience with Total Station and Auto Level is essential.

Preferred Candidate Profile

A hands-on Senior Surveyor who can independently manage surveying requirements for an integrated residential township covering apartments, villas, bungalows, plotted development and external infrastructure, with strong practical knowledge of Total Station, Auto Level, setting-out, levels, coordinates and as-built surveys.

Pay: ₹200,719.15 - ₹600,000.00 per year
