Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and efficient Full time VMC (Vertical Machining Centre) Operator & Programmer to join our production team.

In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating VMC machines.

The ideal candidate must have extensive experience working with copper and a proven track record of optimizing programs for fast, high-volume, and efficient production.

You must be fully capable of generating accurate manufacturing programs directly from 2D drawings when 3D models are not provided.

Key Responsibilities

- Programming & Setup: Write, edit, and optimize CNC/VMC programs using CAD/CAM software or manual G-code/M-code programming.
- Blueprint Translation: Create efficient machining programs from 2D engineering drawings independently when 3D CAD models are unavailable.
- Copper Machining Expertise: Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds,



and feeds tailored specifically for copper to prevent burrs, tool wear, and material sticking.
- High-Efficiency Production: Optimize tool paths and cycle times to ensure fast, high-quality, and cost-effective output.
- Operation: Set up fixtures, load raw materials, and operate VMC machines independently.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished components using micrometers, vernier calipers, and gauges to ensure strict adherence to tolerances.

Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: Minimum [1-2 years] of hands-on experience as a VMC Operator and Programmer.
- Technical Drawing Literacy: Advanced ability to read and interpret complex 2D engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Material Expertise: Proven experience machining copper (experience with brass or aluminum is a plus).
- Efficiency Mindset: Strong understanding of how to maximize cycle times for fast-paced manufacturing.
