Key Responsibilities1. Team Supervision & Management
- Recruitment & Training: Recruit, on-board, and provide continuous training to phlebotomists and home technicians regarding sample collection techniques, patient handling, safety protocols, and company SOPs.
- Roster & Allocation: Manage daily staff rosters, assign home visit duties, and allocate phlebotomists to specific zones based on demand and expertise.
- Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular performance appraisals, monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as turn-around time (TAT), successful collection rates, and customer feedback. Provide coaching and disciplinary action as needed.
2. Operational Logistics & Scheduling
- Dispatch Management: Oversee the dispatching system, ensuring that home visit bookings (online, phone, app) are processed and phlebotomists are dispatched promptly.
- Route Optimization: Utilize technology and logistics software to optimize routes for phlebotomists to minimize travel time, save costs, and ensure punctual arrivals at patient homes.
- Inventory & Kit Management: Ensure all home collection phlebotomy kits are stocked, sterile, and maintained according to medical standards. Manage inventory of consumables (vaccutainers, needles, syringes, transport boxes, etc.).
3. Quality Assurance & Clinical Compliance
- SOP Adherence: Strictly enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sample collection, labeling, pre-analytical handling,
temperature-controlled transport, and disposal of biomedical waste.
- Safety Protocols: Maintain high standards of infection control and safety for both the patient and the phlebotomist within the home setting.
- Transport Monitoring: Monitor the integrity of samples during transit from the patient's home to the central laboratory, ensuring they arrive within specified timeframes and temperature ranges.
4. Customer Experience & Patient Coordination
- Pre-visit Coordination: Ensure patients are contacted beforehand to confirm appointments, provide pre-test instructions (e.g., fasting requirements), and verify addresses.
- Grievance Redressal: act as the primary point of contact for resolving customer complaints, delays, or issues related to home visits with empathy and professionalism.
- Feedback Collection: Implement and analyze patient feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the quality of the home service experience.
5. Reporting & Growth
- Performance Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on home collection volume, TAT, cancellations, revenue, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Strategic Growth: Collaborate with marketing and management to identify opportunities to expand the home service network into recent zones within Mumbai or introduce new home-based diagnostic services.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
