Job description:

Location: Mumbai
Experience: Minimum 1 Years
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com (CA Inter preferred)
Department: Direct Tax

Key Responsibilities:

- Handling Scrutiny Assessments u/s 143(3), 148, 148A of the Income Tax Act
- Managing Block Assessments (u/s 153A, 153B, 153C)
- Drafting replies to Penalty Notices and filing Rectification applications u/s 154
- Handling refund procedures and follow-ups with Income Tax Department
- Representation before Income Tax Authorities
- Preparation & Review of:
- Individual & Corporate Income Tax Returns
- TDS Returns
- PTRC Returns
- Assisting in Tax Audits and scrutiny cases
- Preparation of Financial Statements for Charitable Trusts
- Filing Charity Commissioner returns & related compliances
- Providing tax advisory support to clients

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Income Tax Act & Compliance
- Experience in handling assessment proceedings independently
- Good drafting & representation skills




- Proficiency in:
- Computax / Compu-Online
- Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime
- MS Excel
- Jamku / Quickchex (preferred)
- Robust analytical & problem-solving skills
- Good communication & client handling ability

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- 6 months - 1 years of experience in Direct Tax
- Exposure in CA Firm preferred
- Ability to manage multiple clients independently
- Immediate joiners preferred
