JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Product Packaging Advisor

Job Responsibilities

- Check the quality of packaging materials, including strength, finish, durability, and overall quality.
- Check and verify the thickness of packaging material as per product requirements.
- Review packaging for proper printing, labelling, product information, nutrition value, weight, MRP, ingredients, and other product details.
- Ensure that all small but important product details are correctly mentioned on the packaging.
- Review the cost of the product and packaging and suggest ways to maintain quality while controlling costs.
- Suggest new ideas and improvements to make product packaging more attractive, practical, and effective.
- Coordinate with production, quality, purchase, and design teams regarding packaging requirements.
- Identify packaging problems such as poor quality, incorrect printing, leakage, improper sealing, or material wastage.
- Assist in developing and improving new packaging designs, sizes, materials, and formats.
- Keep track of new packaging materials, designs,



and trends in the market.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of packaging materials and packaging quality standards.
- Basic knowledge of graphic designing and understanding of packaging artwork/design.
- Ability to check packaging material thickness and quality.
- Basic understanding of product labels, nutrition information, ingredients, and other product details.
- Good understanding of costing and material usage.
- Creative thinking and ability to suggest new packaging ideas.
- Positive communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in food processing, FMCG, grains, pulses, rice, or similar industries will be preferred.
- Experience in packaging, quality control, product development, or packaging design will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
