## Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced **AspenTech Applications Support Specialist** to support the installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, integration, and automation of AspenTech applications.

The position is primarily **IT-focused**, requiring robust application support capabilities rather than expertise limited to process modelling or simulation.

Candidates with experience across multiple AspenTech applications may be considered even if they have not worked on every application listed.

* Aspen Software License Manager (SLM)

* Aspen Petroleum Scheduler (APS)

* Aspen Multi-Blend Optimizer (MBO)

* Aspen Unified Reconciliation and Accounting (AURA)

* Aspen HYSYS

* Aspen PIMS

* Aspen Capital Cost Estimator

### Key Responsibilities

* Install, configure, maintain, and support AspenTech applications.

* Provide production and application support to business users.

* Troubleshoot application, licensing, integration, and performance issues.

* Support multiple applications within the AspenTech suite.

* Develop and maintain automation scripts using **VBScript and PowerShell**.

* Support **SQL databases and SSRS reporting** requirements.

* Assist with application testing, upgrades, deployments, and enhancements.

* Analyze business-user issues and provide effective technical solutions.

* Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.

* Use AI tools to understand, develop, and troubleshoot scripts.

* Prepare technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles.

* Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and implementation partners.

### Required Skills

* Strong experience with **AspenTech applications**.





* Hands-on experience with **installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and production support**.

* Experience with **at least 3–4 AspenTech applications** preferred.

* Knowledge of **SQL and SSRS report support**.

* Exposure to **VBScript and PowerShell**.

* Understanding of automation and application-support processes.

* Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

### Preferred Skills

* **InfoPlus.21 (IP21)** experience.

* Experience supporting **AVEVA PI environments**.

* Experience with **Aspen HYSYS and Aspen Software License Manager**.

* Exposure to **Aspen Petroleum Scheduler, Multi-Blend Optimizer, AURA, PIMS, or Capital Cost Estimator**.

* Experience using **AI tools for scripting and troubleshooting**.

* Experience with AspenTech implementation, upgrade, or migration projects.

Pay: Up to ₹1,800,000.00 per year
