- Create and modify CNC programs based on drawings and job requirements.
- Understand technical drawings, dimensions, tolerances and material specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds and machining parameters.
- Set up and verify programs before production.
- Coordinate with CNC operators and production supervisors.
- Conduct trial runs and make necessary program corrections.
- Optimize programs to improve productivity and reduce material wastage.
- Identify and resolve basic programming and machining issues.
- Ensure components are produced according to required dimensions and quality standards.
- Maintain CNC programs and related production records.
- Follow production schedules and safety procedures.
- Support the production team in improving CNC processes.
Qualification & Experience
- ITI / Diploma / Engineering qualification in Mechanical, Production, CNC or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in CNC programming is preferred.
- Knowledge of CNC software/programming and machine operations.
