About the Brand ​Madison on Pedder is a trend-setting, high-fashion label known for bridging contemporary style, statement high-fashion, and effortless elegance. We cater to a discerning clientele looking for exclusive, cutting-edge designs. We are looking for a passionate, dynamic Fashion Designer with a sharp eye for detail and an exclusive background in Western wear to join our creative studio team in Prabhadevi, Mumbai.

​Key Role & Responsibilities ​

1. Design & Creative Execution ​Conceptualization: Design and develop cutting-edge collections with a keen eye for high fashion, streetwear, and bespoke Western wear. ​Technical Mastery: Demonstrate deep expertise in complex silhouette construction, up-to-date pattern-making, precision tailoring, prints, and diverse surface ornamentation/embroidery techniques tailored strictly for Western wear. ​Trend Forecasting: Translate global runway and street style shifts into commercially viable, brand-aligned luxury collections. ​Tech Packs & Sampling: Create detailed tech packs, oversee sample development, coordinate closely with karigars/production units, and manage fittings to ensure flawless execution.

​2. Clientele & Sales Support ​Bespoke Consultations: Manage custom and bespoke orders from initial conceptualization, body measurements, and sketch presentation to final trials and client fittings at the studio. ​Client Relationship Management (CRM): Coordinate directly with private clients, HNWIs, and celebrity stylists, building and maintaining long-term, trusted relationships to drive repeat business and brand advocacy. ​Sales Collaboration: Support business growth by aligning design outputs with client preferences, orders, and sales targets.





​3. Vendor & Production Management ​Sourcing & Quality Control: Coordinate with fabric, trim, and hardware vendors to source high-grade materials that match luxury standards. ​Workflow Oversight: Manage external and internal manufacturing vendors/artisans, ensuring timelines, cost parameters, and elite quality control checks are met for every piece produced out of the office/studio setup.

​4. Post-Purchase & Service Management ​After-Sales Support: Oversee the end-to-end after-sales cycle, including alterations, client feedback incorporation, garment care guidance, and troubleshooting any product issues. ​Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth coordination between studio design, production lines, and final client delivery to uphold the premium reputation of Madison on Pedder.

​Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

​Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven professional experience as a Fashion Designer, exclusively working within Western wear design, luxury labels, or bespoke studio brands. ​Educational Background: Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design/Apparel Manufacturing from a reputed institute (e.g., NIFT, NID, or equivalent). ​Design Sensibility: A sharp aesthetic eye bridging high-fashion sophistication with modern streetwear and bespoke detailing. ​Technical Skills: Strong mastery over draping, Western pattern-making, silhouette structuring, fabric science, print development, and application of embroidery. ​Interpersonal & Business Acumen: Exceptional communication skills, professionalism suited for handling elite clientele, and hands-on capability managing vendor logistics and studio workflows.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
