Gupta Nursing Home is looking for a caring, responsible and hardworking Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support patients with day-to-day bedside care and assist the nursing team in providing quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing and feeding.
- Provide bedside support and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Assist patients with walking, movement and shifting from bed to wheelchair/stretcher.
- Help in changing bed sheets, maintaining cleanliness and keeping the patient's area hygienic.
- Assist nurses in routine patient-care activities as instructed.
- Monitor and report any changes in the patient's condition to the nursing staff.
- Assist in transporting patients within the nursing home when required.
- Help patients with toileting and other personal-care needs respectfully.
- Maintain proper hygiene and follow infection-control practices.
- Handle basic patient-care equipment responsibly.
- Provide polite and compassionate support to patients and their attendants.
- Follow instructions given by nurses, doctors and senior staff.
Eligibility
- 0–3 years of experience in a hospital, nursing home or healthcare facility preferred.
- Freshers may also apply.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Caring, polite, punctual and responsible attitude.
- Ability to work in shifts as required.
