About the Role

We are looking for a talented and confident Odia Content Writer who has excellent communication skills, strong storytelling ability, and the creativity to develop engaging stories from given information.

The company will provide the candidate with interview materials, information, and research inputs related to different personalities, subjects, and topics. Based on these inputs, the candidate will be responsible for independently developing a well-structured and engaging story/script in Odia.

The selected candidate will also present/anchor the developed stories for digital and satellite media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Study interview materials, background information, and research provided by the company.

Understand the key facts, personality, subject, or topic covered in the material.

Independently develop an engaging and well-structured Odia story/script from the available information.

Convert raw interview material into an interesting narrative suitable for a television and digital audience.

Create appropriate openings, story flow, transitions, and conclusions.

Ensure the content is grammatically correct, natural, engaging, and audience-friendly in Odia.

Present/anchor the prepared stories confidently in front of the camera.

Adapt storytelling style according to the subject, personality, and target audience.

Work closely with the editorial and production team to refine scripts and presentations.





Participate in interviews, recordings, and other content-production activities whenever required.

Maintain accuracy while presenting facts and information.

Required Skills

Excellent spoken and written Odia.

Very good communication and presentation skills.

Strong storytelling and story-formulation ability.

Ability to transform raw information/interview material into an engaging story.

Good voice modulation, expression, and on-camera confidence.

Creative thinking and the ability to find an interesting narrative angle.

Good general awareness and curiosity about people, society, culture, and current topics.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Basic understanding of digital media and television content will be an advantage.

Ideal Candidate

Candidate Profile

A candidate with a strong personality, excellent Odia communication, positive story-formulating ability, and confidence in front of a camera will be preferred.

Female candidates with strong communication, storytelling, presentation, and creative writing abilities are encouraged to apply.
