Senior Accountant – Job Description

Location: Patna (Near Saguna More), Bihar
Experience: 5–6 Years
Employment Type: Full-time, In office

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain books of accounts using Tally.
* Handle purchase, sales, expenses and ledger accounting.
* Manage bank reconciliation, cash book and vendor/customer ledgers.
* Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
* Reconcile ITC and ensure GST compliance.
* Prepare MIS and financial summaries using Excel/Google Sheets.
* Coordinate with CA for filings, audits and financial queries.
* Support month-end closing and accounting compliance.

Key Requirements

* 5–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in trading or a transaction-heavy business.
* Strong practical knowledge of GST and TDS compliance.
* Proficient in Tally and adaptable to other accounting/reporting tools.
* Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
* Minimum qualification: B.Com; M.Com or related degree preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
