A Plant Stylist

is a design-focused skilled who blends interior aesthetics with horticulture to curate living greenery compositions for residential, corporate, and hospitality spaces.

Role Overview Unlike traditional gardeners or landscapers who focus primarily on plant growth and maintenance, a Plant Stylist treats plants as living design elements. They harmonize nature with interior architecture, focusing on visual weight, scale, texture, and color.

Key Responsibilities Read the Space: Visit client locations to analyze interior design languages, existing furniture, lighting, color palettes, and architectural moods. Curate Plants and Planters: Select matching plant varieties, pots, containers, stands, and accessories that complement the surrounding decor. Design Compositions: Plan plant groupings, layering, heights, and densities, making intentional use of negative space. On-Site Installation:



Supervise or participate in the physical placement of arrangements on-site, ensuring alignment with aesthetic goals and plant health needs (like adequate sunlight).Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside interior designers, architects, and horticulture teams.

Qualifications & Skills Education: Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Landscape Design, Spatial Design, or Visual Merchandising. Aesthetic Eye: Strong command over composition, proportion, scale, color theory, and material textures. Horticultural Knowledge: Basic-to-intermediate understanding of plant lighting requirements, watering needs, and overall care.
