(JD) – Senior Manager IT

Job Title: Senior Manager – Information Technology (IT)Experience Required: 9+ Years from Large media industry

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Management

· Manage enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and backup systems.

· Ensure high availability and uptime of post-production systems and services.

· Oversee data center operations and disaster recovery planning.

Post Production Technology Support

· Support editing, color grading, sound design, VFX, animation, and rendering environments.

· Manage systems used in media workflows including:

o Non-linear editing systems

o Shared storage environments

o Media asset management systems

o Render farms

o Transcoding pipelines

· Coordinate with creative teams for smooth workflow operations.

Network & Storage Administration

· Manage high-speed SAN/NAS storage systems.

· Maintain low-latency, high-bandwidth networks for media transfer and collaboration.

· Optimize storage allocation, archival, and retrieval processes.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

· Implement cybersecurity policies and endpoint protection.

· Ensure protection of confidential media assets and intellectual property.

· Conduct regular audits, vulnerability assessments, and access control reviews.

Vendor & Project Management

· Coordinate with hardware/software vendors and service providers.

· Lead IT infrastructure upgrades and technology implementation projects.

· Negotiate AMC/support contracts and procurement planning.

Team Leadership

· Lead IT engineers, system administrators, and support staff.





· Establish SLAs and monitor support performance.

· Conduct training and technical guidance for internal teams.

Cloud & Emerging Technologies

· Evaluate cloud-based post-production solutions and hybrid workflows.

· Support remote collaboration and secure media transfer solutions.

· Recommend technology improvements aligned with business growth.

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

Core Technical Skills

· Windows/Linux/macOS administration

· Enterprise networking (L2/L3 switching, VLANs, firewalls)

· SAN/NAS storage systems

· Virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)

· Backup & disaster recovery solutions

· Active Directory & identity management

· Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP preferred)

Post Production Technology Knowledge

Experience with:

· Avid Media Composer

· DaVinci Resolve

· Adobe Premiere Pro

· Autodesk Flame

· Media asset management systems

· Render management tools

· High-resolution media workflows (4K/8K)

Soft Skills

· Leadership and stakeholder management

· Problem-solving and crisis management

· Solid communication skills

· Project planning and execution

Educational Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹140,000.00 per month
