We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Chief Housekeeper (Executive Housekeeper) to head the Housekeeping Department for a premier 5-star hotel property in Trivandrum. The candidate will be responsible for upholding world-class luxury standards of cleanliness, hygiene, aesthetic presentation, and operational efficiency across all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Property Standards & Quality Control: Maintain flawless standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and guest comfort throughout the hotel, conducting rigorous daily inspections of guest rooms, suites, public areas, and banquet facilities.
- Operational Leadership: Manage daily housekeeping operations, laundry, linen management, floristry, and pest control contracts.
- Team Management & Training: Lead, recruit, schedule, and train the housekeeping staff and supervisors in 5-star service protocols, chemical safety, and efficient room turnover practices.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage departmental operating budgets, monitor linen/guest supply inventories, and implement cost-effective operational controls without compromising guest satisfaction.




- Cross-Departmental Coordination: Work closely with the Front Office and Engineering/Maintenance teams to handle room status updates, preventive maintenance programs, and quick resolution of guest complaints.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: Hands-on operational experience managing housekeeping function in a 5-star hotel property.
- Leadership Track Record: Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory or managerial experience leading a full housekeeping department team.
- Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of commercial laundry operations, fabric care, sanitation protocols, cleaning chemicals (e.g., Diversey/Ecolab standards), and hotel PMS/ERP software.
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management.
- Key Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, robust leadership, conflict resolution skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
