Key Responsibilities

- Tool Issuing and Receiving: Hand out hand tools, power tools, cutting tools, measuring devices, and spare parts to authorized personnel while logging transactions accurately.
- Inventory Control: Track inventory levels, perform periodic cycle counts, reconcile physical stock with computer databases, and organize stock locations.
- Quality and Safety Checks: Inspect returned tools and equipment for wear, damage, defects, or safety hazards; remove compromised items from active service.
- Maintenance and Repair: Clean, lubricate, sharpen, or coordinate outside repairs and recalibrations for damaged or worn tools.
- Procurement Support: Reorder depleted consumables or create purchase requisitions for necessary spare parts and equipment through inventory systems.
- Facility Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and secure tool crib following 5S and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) methodologies.
