Position: Manager / Senior Manager – Electrical & Instrumentation

Industry: Ethanol / Grain-Based Distillery

Location: Cuttack, Odisha

Experience: 10–18 years

Mandatory: Experience in Ethanol / Distillery Industry

Key Responsibilities:

· Overall responsibility for Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance of the ethanol/distillery plant.

· Ensure reliable and uninterrupted operation of electrical, instrumentation and control systems.

· Handle maintenance of HT/LT systems, transformers, DG sets, MCC/PCC panels, VFDs, motors, cables and power distribution systems.

· Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, DCS/SCADA, field instruments, control valves, transmitters, sensors and automation systems.

· Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities.

· Monitor plant electrical load, power consumption and equipment performance.

· Coordinate with production, utilities and engineering teams for smooth plant operation.

· Ensure availability and proper maintenance of critical E&I; spares.

· Lead shutdown/annual maintenance activities and ensure timely completion.

· Identify recurring breakdowns and implement root-cause analysis and corrective actions.





· Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory requirements and plant SOPs.

· Supervise and guide E&I; engineers, technicians, electricians and contractors.

· Prepare maintenance plans, MIS, breakdown reports and performance reports.

· Support modification, automation and improvement projects related to plant E&I; systems.

· Coordinate with OEMs and external agencies for specialized maintenance and technical support.

Candidate Profile:

Degree/Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Instrumentation / Instrumentation Engineering.

· 10–18 years of relevant experience, preferably in a grain-based ethanol/distillery plant.

· Robust hands-on experience in plant electrical maintenance and instrumentation/automation.

· Experience in DCS/PLC, VFD, HT/LT systems and process instrumentation will be preferred.

· Should have good team-handling, troubleshooting and maintenance planning capabilities.

· Preferred: Candidates currently working or having substantial previous experience in ethanol/distillery plants will be considered.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
