Job Summary

Pitchdeck.Design is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of video editing, storytelling, visual composition, and current social media content trends.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit engaging videos for social media, websites, marketing campaigns, and business content.
- Create short-form content such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and promotional videos.
- Edit long-form videos, interviews, presentations, and promotional content when required.
- Add transitions, effects, subtitles, graphics, music, sound effects, and animations.
- Select and arrange footage to create clear and engaging visual stories.
- Perform basic colour correction, audio enhancement, and video optimisation.
- Create video thumbnails and supporting visual content when required.
- Work closely with the content, marketing, and design teams.




- Understand creative briefs and incorporate feedback into final edits.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver videos within deadlines.
- Stay updated with current video editing, social media, and AI-powered creative trends.

Requirements

- 0–2 years of experience in video editing. Freshers with a strong portfolio can apply.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar editing tools.
- Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, transitions, typography, and sound.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and colour correction is an advantage.
- Familiarity with AI video and creative tools is preferred.
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Portfolio/showreel is mandatory.
