Job Description – TGT – Social Science

Position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Social Science
Location: Sikar, Rajasthan
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging, concept-based Social Science lessons for Middle and Secondary students.
- Teach History, Geography, Political Science/Civics, and Economics as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop students’ critical thinking, analytical skills, and understanding of society and the world.
- Use activity-based, experiential, and discussion-based teaching methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, and teaching resources.
- Conduct regular assessments, examinations, and remedial sessions.
- Monitor students’ academic progress and provide individual support where required.
- Encourage debates, discussions, presentations, map work, projects, and current-affairs activities.
- Maintain accurate academic records and student progress reports.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Communicate with parents regarding students’ academic progress and development.




- Participate in school events, competitions, workshops, and teacher training programs.
- Collaborate with other teachers and the academic team for students’ overall development.

Eligibility & Skills

- Qualification: Graduation/Post-Graduation in Social Science/History/Geography/Political Science/Economics or relevant subject with B.Ed.
- Strong knowledge of History, Geography, Civics/Political Science, and Economics.
- Prior TGT experience, preferably in a CBSE school, will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to make Social Science engaging through activities, discussions, projects, and real-life examples.
- Valuable analytical, research, and presentation skills.
- Basic knowledge of digital teaching tools and smart-class technology.
- Passionate, creative, patient, and student-friendly approach.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
