Job Discription

- Knowledge of drawing and measurements,

- Experience working in Tool Room.

- Experience on manual Lathe Machine.

- Ensuring proper alignment and adjustment of the machine components.

- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand the specifications and requirements of the workpiece.

- Selects the appropriate cutting tools such as turning tools, boring tools, threading tools, or grooving tools.

- Starts the lathe machine and adjusts the machine controls to set the rotational speed, tool movements, and other parameters.

- Performs various machining operations, including turning, facing, tapering, drilling, knurling,



and threading.

- Inspects the machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify conformance to specifications.

- Routine maintenance tasks on the lathe machine, such as cleaning, lubrication, and tool maintenance.

- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with workplace regulations.

Key Skills

Machining principles, blueprint reading, tool selection, and measurement techniques. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving.
