Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Development & Market Linkage Trainer who can provide practical training and handholding support to SHGs, entrepreneurs and community-based enterprises.

The role requires someone who understands how to develop a product into a market-ready business. The candidate should have practical knowledge of product branding, packaging, pricing, demand generation, market linkage, sales, stall setup and business development, particularly for food-based and SHG enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct practical training on enterprise and entrepreneurship development.
- Provide regular handholding to SHGs and entrepreneurs for setting up and growing their businesses.
- Support product development, branding, packaging, labelling and positioning.
- Guide entrepreneurs on costing, pricing, profit margins and basic business planning.
- Develop market linkages with retailers, distributors, institutional buyers, local businesses and other potential buyers.
- Plan and support demand-generation and promotional activities for SHG and enterprise products.
- Support stall setup, product display and sales at exhibitions, fairs, markets and promotional events.
- Conduct market visits and surveys to understand customer demand, competition, pricing and potential sales opportunities.
- Support food business development, including market positioning, packaging, pricing and sales strategy.
- Provide basic guidance regarding FSSAI, food labelling, packaging and other relevant business requirements.
- Support entrepreneurs in sales pitching, customer acquisition,



buyer interaction and negotiation.
- Guide enterprises on digital marketing, social media promotion and online selling opportunities.
- Identify suitable sales channels and help enterprises establish sustainable market connections.
- Track enterprise progress, sales, market linkages and other business outcomes.
- Maintain required training, enterprise and field-level documentation.

Qualification & Experience

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Rural Development, Commerce, Social Work, Food Technology or a related field.
- Preferably 3+ years of relevant experience in Enterprise Development, Entrepreneurship Development, Market Linkage, Business Development, Livelihood Projects, SHG Development or MSME support.
- Practical experience working with SHGs, food-processing enterprises, rural businesses, community enterprises or livelihood projects will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of branding, packaging, pricing, sales, market linkage and demand generation.
- Candidates should have practical field experience and should be comfortable working directly with entrepreneurs, communities and market stakeholders.
- Good communication, training, presentation and coordination skills.

Travel Requirement

This is a field-intensive position. The selected candidate must be willing to travel frequently across Una and other project locations across India, as required.

Travel may be required for enterprise visits, training, market surveys, buyer meetings, exhibitions, stall setup, market linkage, entrepreneur handholding and other business-development activities.

Candidates who are not comfortable with frequent field travel and travel across different project locations should not apply.

Pay: Up to ₹39,759.20 per month
