Reports To: Consultant / HOD – Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Job Purpose

To provide timely medical care to patients attending the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department, assist consultants, and ensure proper management and coordination of patient care.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Attend to gynecology and obstetric patients in OPD, emergency, and inpatient areas.
- Take detailed patient history and perform clinical examination.
- Assist consultants in diagnosis, treatment, and patient management.
- Monitor patients and identify any deterioration or emergency condition.
- Initiate appropriate treatment as per hospital protocols and consultant advice.
- Assist in gynecological procedures and minor procedures as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records, case sheets, investigation reports, and treatment notes.
- Coordinate investigations and follow up on laboratory and diagnostic reports.




- Attend emergency calls and provide immediate medical support.
- Ensure proper handover and communication with nursing and other clinical teams.
- Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment, medications, investigations, and follow-up.
- Maintain infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital protocols.
- Perform duties as assigned by the HOD/Consultant.

Qualification

- MBBS / BAMS / BHMS
- Valid registration with the respective medical council.

Experience

- 1–2 years of experience in Gynaecology / Obstetrics & Gynaecology preferred.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
