We are looking for a motivated Python/Django developer who has a robust interest in backend development and wants to gain hands-on experience working on a real-world project.

The selected candidate will be involved in developing and maintaining backend applications, building APIs, managing databases, integrating frontend and backend systems, and solving technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend applications using Python and Django.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Develop efficient backend logic and reusable code.
- Work with databases and Django ORM.
- Integrate backend services with frontend applications.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and other backend functionalities.
- Debug and resolve application issues.
- Test backend functionality and ensure application reliability.
- Optimize application performance and database queries.
- Collaborate with React frontend developers and other team members.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development standards.
- Maintain technical documentation where required.
- Learn and implement new technologies based on project requirements.

Required Skills

- Understanding of Django REST Framework / REST APIs.




- Basic to good knowledge of databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics.
- Knowledge of Git and Gitlab.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Git/Gitlab workflows.
- Basic knowledge of React.js & Next JS
- Familiarity with Docker or cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of coding tools like Cursor, Codex and Claude Code.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree / diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Freshers with strong Python/Django project experience are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with relevant professional experience may also apply.
