## Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced *Purchase Manager* to manage and oversee the procurement of materials, components, and spare parts. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in *electronic material and spare parts purchasing*, vendor management, cost negotiation, and ensuring timely availability of materials for production and operations.

## Key Responsibilities

* Plan and manage procurement activities based on production and operational requirements.

* Source and procure electronic components, electrical materials, and industrial spare parts.

* Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.

* Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.

* Prepare and release purchase orders in coordination with the concerned departments.

* Ensure timely delivery of materials as per required quality and specifications.

* Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, Engineering, and Accounts departments.

* Monitor purchase orders, pending deliveries, and material shortages.

* Maintain appropriate inventory levels and avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.

* Verify supplier quotations and compare prices, quality, and delivery terms.

* Handle vendor performance, quality issues, replacements, and delivery delays.

* Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, and procurement reports.

* Ensure compliance with company purchase procedures and approval processes.

* Support cost reduction, alternate vendor development, and procurement improvement initiatives.

## Preferred Experience





Experience in purchasing the following materials will be preferred:

* Electronic components and electronic spare parts.

* PCB, connectors, relays, switches, sensors, and related components.

* Electrical components, cables, terminals, and control-panel materials.

* Industrial machinery and equipment spare parts.

* Production consumables and maintenance materials.

## Educational Qualification

* Bachelor’s degree or diploma in *Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field*.

* Additional qualification in procurement or supply chain management will be an advantage.

## Required Skills

* Minimum *5 years of experience in purchase/procurement*, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering organisation.

* Strong knowledge of electronic and electrical material procurement.

* Valuable vendor sourcing and negotiation skills.

* Knowledge of purchase orders, quotations, material specifications, and commercial terms.

* Ability to read and understand technical specifications and part numbers.

* Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP-based purchase processes.

* Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and meet deadlines.

* Reduction in material shortages and procurement delays.
