Key Responsibilities

- Source and procure plastic scrap, recyclable plastics, industrial plastic waste, post-consumer waste, and other required raw materials.
- Identify and develop new suppliers, scrap dealers, aggregators, industries, and collection networks.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and ensure regular material availability.
- Visit suppliers, scrap yards, industries, warehouses, and collection centers to assess material availability and quality.
- Negotiate purchase prices, payment terms, transportation costs, and other commercial conditions.
- Monitor market prices and provide regular updates on plastic scrap price movements.
- Check material quality, polymer type, contamination, moisture, color, and other specifications before purchase.
- Coordinate with the Quality, Production, Logistics, and Accounts teams for smooth procurement and receipt of materials.
- Plan and coordinate pickup/transportation of purchased scrap from suppliers.
- Maintain supplier databases, purchase records, quotations, and procurement reports.
- Track daily/weekly/monthly sourcing quantities and costs against targets.
- Resolve supplier-related issues involving quality, quantity, pricing, delivery, and payments.
- Explore new sourcing locations and develop additional collection channels.




- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable environmental/recycling regulations.

Key Skills

- Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills.
- Good knowledge of plastic scrap and recyclable materials.
- Understanding of different plastics such as PP, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PET, ABS, PVC, etc. is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of local scrap markets and supplier networks.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and procurement documentation.
- Ability to travel extensively for supplier visits and material sourcing.
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
- Ability to work with procurement targets and deadlines.

Qualifications

Education: Any graduate degree preferred. Diploma/degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.

Experience: 2–5 years in plastic scrap sourcing, recycling, waste management, procurement, scrap trading, or a related industry.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
