About the Role

We are looking for a Curriculum & Pedagogy Lead – Mathematics to define what great Mathematics tutoring should look like and translate that thinking into the behaviour of an AI tutor.

You will work at the intersection of Mathematics, pedagogy, curriculum, assessment and AI, partnering closely with Product and Engineering to build a tutoring experience that can explain concepts clearly, identify misconceptions, ask the right questions, provide useful hints and adapt to how a student is learning.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys thinking deeply about how students actually learn Mathematics, rather than simply covering a syllabus.

What You Will Do

- Design and evaluate Mathematics learning progressions, concepts, assessments, and instructional approaches aligned with international curricula and standards, including UK, US, Australian, or other international curricula.
- Adapt pedagogical approaches across different international curricula while maintaining robust conceptual understanding and consistent learning outcomes.
- Define teaching strategies for explanation, questioning, hints, correction, practice, and evaluating mastery.
- Design learning progressions, prerequisites, concept sequences, assessments across difficulty levels.
- Define different tutoring experiences for classes, revision, doubt-solving, practice, and exam preparation.




- Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to improve the speed and quality of your work.

Who We Are Looking For

- 3+ years of experience in Mathematics education, working with international curricula (e.g., IGCSE, UK, US Common Core State Standards (CCSS), Australian/ACARA, IB, or other international curricula).
- Experience teaching Mathematics or working on curriculum, lesson design, assessment, learning progressions or educational content.
- Strong understanding of how students learn Mathematics and the misconceptions students commonly develop.
- Ability to explain why a particular teaching approach works or does not work.
- Strong first-principles thinking and independent judgment.
- Excellent communication and written articulation skills.
- Comfortable working closely with Product and Engineering teams.
- Curious about AI and excited about applying AI to education.
- Comfortable experimenting with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and other AI tools.

Preferred Background

- Hands-on experience with one or more international Mathematics curricula such as IGCSE/GCSE, UK National Curriculum, US Common Core State Standards (CCSS), Australian Curriculum/ACARA, IB, or other international curricula.
- Experience in Maths-focused EdTech, tutoring, curriculum, assessment or learning-product organizations.
- Experience with 1:1 tutoring or personalized learning.
- Experience developing assessments or diagnostic frameworks.
- Experience working with K–12 Mathematics, particularly within international curriculum frameworks.
- M.Ed / MA in Education / Mathematics Education or a related qualification is preferred.
- Strong academic background from a reputed Indian or international institution is preferred.
- Experience working with digital learning products or EdTech platforms is a plus.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
