*Description*

Automobile sector में MPI Operator आमतौर पर Magnetic Particle Inspection Operator होता है। यह एक Quality Inspection / NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) का काम है।

MPI Operator का मुख्य काम क्या होता है?

MPI का उपयोग automobile के metal components में छिपी हुई surface और near-surface cracks/defects पता करने के लिए किया जाता है।

उदाहरण के लिए:

Crankshaft

Camshaft

Gear parts

Axle/shaft

Connecting rod

Forged components

अन्य critical steel components

MPI की प्रक्रिया आसान भाषा में

Component को साफ करना – पार्ट पर oil, dust या अन्य गंदगी हटाई जाती है।





Part को MPI machine में लगाना – component को सही position में रखा जाता है।

Magnetic field देना – पार्ट को magnetize किया जाता है।

Magnetic particles/chemical लगाना – fluorescent या visible magnetic particles का उपयोग किया जाता है।

Inspection करना – अगर पार्ट में crack या defect है तो magnetic particles उस जगह जमा हो जाते हैं।

Defect identify करना – Operator UV light या appropriate inspection light से indication देखता है।

OK/NG करना – specification के अनुसार पार्ट को OK या Rejection (NG) में अलग करता है।
