Job Summary

We are looking for a Site Supervisor – Transport Operations to manage the day-to-day deployment and operations of rental trucks at construction/project sites in Jammu & Kashmir.

The Site Supervisor will coordinate with clients, drivers, site teams, dispatch, and the head office to ensure smooth vehicle operations, timely availability, safety compliance, and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the deployment and movement of rental trucks at assigned construction sites.
- Coordinate with site engineers, client representatives, and dispatch teams for daily vehicle requirements.
- Ensure timely reporting and availability of trucks as per project schedules.
- Monitor truck utilization and minimize idle time.
- Assign duties and schedules to drivers.
- Monitor driver attendance, discipline, and compliance with company policies.
- Verify driver licences and required documents.
- Maintain daily records of drivers and vehicles.
- Verify trip sheets, logbooks, fuel records, and timesheets.
- Record vehicle entry/exit, working hours, trips completed, and equipment usage.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections for cleanliness, roadworthiness, and safety.
- Report breakdowns, accidents, and maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs with the workshop team.
- Ensure RC, Insurance, Fitness Certificate, PUC, and permits remain valid.
- Act as the company's representative at the project site.




- Maintain professional communication with client representatives.
- Resolve operational issues and escalate major concerns to management.
- Ensure drivers follow site safety regulations, traffic laws, and PPE requirements.
- Conduct safety briefings/toolbox talks when required.
- Support billing by verifying client-approved timesheets and trip records.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 12th pass may be considered based on relevant experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in Transport, Logistics, Fleet Management, or Construction Site Operations.
- Experience supervising truck operations at infrastructure or construction projects is preferred.
