About the Role

Better Ledger Inc. is looking for an experienced U.S. Bookkeeper to join our team and handle bookkeeping and accounting tasks for U.S.-based clients.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with U.S. bookkeeping, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for U.S.-based clients
- Record and categorize financial transactions accurately
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records
- Prepare and maintain financial reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Work with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other accounting tools
- Communicate with clients and internal teams as required
- Ensure books are accurate, complete, and up to date

Requirements

- Relevant experience in U.S.



bookkeeping is required
- Strong understanding of U.S. accounting and bookkeeping practices
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in a night shift
- Willingness to work on-site
