ABOUT THE PROGRAM

PARIKSHE is envisioned as a one-stop learning solution for any student preparing for state board examinations in Karnataka. Our mission is to provide high quality academic learning founded on excellent teaching and pedagogy to students all across Karnataka, irrespective of their backgrounds.

Currently, the SSLC @ PARIKSHE Program, PU Science and PU Commerce are run through dedicated YouTube channels and the PARIKSHE App, with content in both live and asynchronous forms, reaching lakhs of students across the state. At PARIKSHE, we believe that learning is most effective when it happens in the student's mother tongue, which is why our teaching approach is bilingual (Kannada-plus-English), ensuring simplicity, clarity and better academic outcomes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role sits within the academic content team and is focused on transcription and documentation support — converting raw question banks, test series, and recorded classes into clean, structured, exam-ready material. It is best suited to someone who has recently been through serious exam preparation themselves and understands what makes content genuinely useful to a student preparing under pressure.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

- Robust academic record in PU Science, reflecting consistent performance and a solid command over fundamentals
- Has prepared seriously for at least one competitive entrance exam (JEE, KCET, NEET, or an equivalent CET)
- Currently pursuing an engineering, medical, or dental degree (early years preferred, for adequate bandwidth)




- Strong command over the relevant subject matter at the PU level
- High attention to detail — this role is accuracy-critical
- Comfortable working in MS Office and GSuite; familiarity with equation editors is a plus
- Ability to work independently against a checklist and meet deadlines

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Transcribing questions and test series from source material (audio/video/handwritten/PDF) into a clean, standardized format
- Creating supporting documents such as class notes, summary sheets, and formula/concept sheets from recorded classes or existing content
- Proofreading and cross-checking transcribed content for accuracy against source material (numbers, formulas, options, answer keys)
- Organizing content by subject, chapter, and difficulty level as per PARIKSHE's content structure
- Flagging ambiguities, errors, or gaps in source material to the academic team

ELIGIBILITY

Educational Qualifications: Currently pursuing an engineering, medical, or dental degree, with a strong academic record at the PU level

Work Experience: Not required — prior entrance exam preparation and command over subject matter take priority over prior work experience

OTHER DETAILS

Location: Remote (or Hybrid depending on location)

Expected Joining Date: ASAP

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
