- Receive, identify, label, and process tissue specimens according to laboratory procedures.
- Perform tissue fixation, processing, dehydration, clearing, and paraffin embedding.
- Prepare tissue sections using a microtome.
- Perform routine staining, including Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E;) staining.
- Assist with special stains and immunohistochemistry procedures as required.
- Prepare and maintain pathology slides and tissue blocks.
- Handle biopsy and surgical specimens carefully and maintain proper specimen identification.
- Assist pathologists during gross examination of specimens as instructed.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, registers, and reports.
- Operate, clean, and maintain histopathology laboratory equipment.
- Follow infection-control, biosafety, and laboratory safety procedures.




- Maintain adequate stock of reagents, chemicals, slides, and other laboratory supplies.
- Perform quality checks to ensure accurate and reliable slide preparation.
- Dispose of biomedical waste according to hospital and laboratory guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the histopathology laboratory.
- Report equipment problems, specimen discrepancies, or other issues to the concerned senior/pathologist.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies and procedures.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
