Job Purpose:

The Junior Technical Officer will assist in overseeing day-to-day operations in dairy processing and manufacturing, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and efficiency standards. The role also involves supporting manpower management on the production floor to achieve smooth workflow and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in supervising daily production processes including pasteurization, homogenization, fermentation, and packaging of dairy products.
- Monitor and record critical control points to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (FSSAI/ISO/HACCP).
- Conduct routine quality checks on raw milk, in-process, and finished products.
- Support maintenance and calibration of dairy processing equipment.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Maintain production documentation, quality records, and reports accurately.
- Ensure workplace hygiene, sanitation, and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).




- Handle and guide shop-floor manpower – assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure discipline and safety compliance.
- Provide basic training to operators and workers on SOPs, hygiene, and equipment handling.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in dairy / food manufacturing (freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply).
- Understanding of dairy processing operations and quality management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team handling abilities.
- Willingness to work in shifts and production-floor environment.
