Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced ITI Fitter to join our Maintenance Team at our chemical manufacturing facility in Jangalpur. The candidate will be responsible for mechanical maintenance, installation, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Perform fitting, assembly, dismantling, alignment, and installation of mechanical components.
- Handle maintenance of pumps, valves, pipelines, gearboxes, agitators, motors, bearings, and other mechanical equipment.
- Identify mechanical faults and carry out timely troubleshooting and repairs.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of current machinery and equipment.
- Carry out fabrication, cutting, drilling, grinding, and other fitting-related activities as required.
- Check and maintain proper alignment of rotating equipment.
- Attend to breakdowns promptly to minimize plant downtime.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain proper maintenance records.
- Coordinate with the Production and Electrical/Maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and maintenance materials.
- Strictly follow plant safety procedures, PPE requirements, and chemical industry safety standards.




- Maintain good housekeeping in the maintenance area and work locations.
- Follow all company policies, work instructions, and safety procedures.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of mechanical fitting and maintenance.
- Practical experience in handling pumps, valves, pipelines, gearboxes, bearings, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and equipment specifications.
- Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing plant environment.
- Willingness to work in shifts and attend emergency breakdowns when required.
- Strong focus on safety and disciplined work practices.

Qualification & Experience

- ITI – Fitter from a recognized Industrial Training Institute.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a chemical manufacturing, process industry, pharmaceutical, fertilizer, or similar manufacturing plant.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in plant mechanical maintenance will be preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
