Position: Panchakarma Therapist

Job Purpose

To provide safe, hygienic, and effective Ayurvedic therapies and Panchakarma procedures as prescribed by the Ayurvedic physician, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and adherence to hospital protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Panchakarma and Ayurvedic therapies strictly as prescribed by the Ayurvedic physician.
- Prepare the therapy room, equipment, oils, herbal powders, decoctions, and other materials before treatment.
- Verify patient identity and prescribed treatment before commencing the procedure.
- Explain the procedure to the patient and ensure privacy, comfort, and dignity.
- Monitor the patient's condition during treatment and immediately report any abnormal symptoms or concerns to the physician.
- Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, infection-control, and safety standards.
- Clean and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas after every procedure.
- Record treatments performed, duration, materials used, and relevant observations accurately.
- Maintain appropriate stock of oils, herbs, linens, and therapy consumables and report shortages.
- Follow hospital SOPs and instructions from the Ayurvedic physician/Panchakarma In-charge.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, pharmacists,



and other hospital staff for smooth patient care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct.

Qualification

- Certificate/Diploma in Panchakarma Therapy / Ayurvedic Therapy / Ayurveda Nursing or equivalent relevant qualification.
- Formal training in Panchakarma procedures preferred.

Experience

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in an Ayurvedic hospital, Panchakarma centre, clinic, or wellness facility preferred.

- Practical knowledge of Panchakarma and Ayurvedic therapies.
- Good patient-handling and communication skills.
- Ability to follow physician instructions accurately.
- Knowledge of hygiene and infection-control practices.
- Positive physical stamina and manual skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a healthcare team.

Joining: Immediate / As per notice period
Working Hours: As per hospital shift schedule

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
