Position: Civil Engineer – Building Construction

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to supervise and execute building construction activities at the project site. The candidate should have strong knowledge of RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concrete, masonry, plastering and finishing works, along with the ability to manage contractors and site activities independently.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage day-to-day building construction activities at site.

Execute RCC works including footing, column, beam and slab as per approved drawings.

Check reinforcement, shuttering, levels, alignment and dimensions before concrete work.

Supervise concrete pouring, curing and finishing activities.

Monitor brick/block masonry, plastering, flooring and other finishing works.

Read and interpret civil, structural and architectural drawings.

Ensure construction work is carried out according to drawings, specifications and approved methods.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants and site supervisors.

Monitor manpower, materials and equipment required for daily activities.

Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site records.

Take site measurements and assist in BOQ, quantity estimation and contractor bill verification.





Check quality of construction materials and workmanship.

Identify site-related technical issues and provide suitable solutions.

Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed within the planned schedule.

Ensure proper utilization of materials and minimize wastage.

Coordinate with QC, safety and planning teams.

Ensure all site activities follow required quality and safety standards.

Required Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of building construction and site execution.

Hands-on experience in RCC, shuttering, reinforcement and concrete works.

Knowledge of brick/block work, plastering and finishing activities.

Good understanding of civil and structural drawings.

Knowledge of quantity estimation, BOQ and site measurements.

Knowledge of construction materials and methods.

Basic knowledge of relevant IS Codes and construction standards.

Knowledge of contractor and manpower management.

Positive knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.

Ability to prepare site reports and maintain construction documentation.

Ability to independently handle site responsibilities

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
