JOB DESCRIPTION – SENIOR EXECUTIVE – QA & QC

Qualification

B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Tech. in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry or related fields.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day QA & QC activities at the Navi Mumbai facility.
- Inspect raw materials, packaging materials, imported/frozen food products and finished goods.
- Monitor product quality, hygiene, temperature and cold-chain conditions.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, GHP and FSMS standards.
- Conduct product sampling and coordinate with external laboratories for testing.
- Maintain COA, quality reports, inspection records and product specifications.
- Handle NCR, CAPA, root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Investigate and support closure of customer and product quality complaints.
- Conduct regular warehouse, hygiene and food-safety inspections.
- Maintain and update SOPs, checklists and QA/QC documentation.
- Support internal, customer and third-party audits.
- Coordinate with Warehouse,



Supply Chain, Procurement and Operations teams.
- Conduct training on food safety, hygiene and quality procedures.

Candidate Requirements

- 3–6 years of relevant QA/QC experience, preferably in the food/FMCG industry.
- Experience in Frozen Food, Dairy, Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Processed Food or Cold Chain will be preferred.
- Solid working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP, FSSAI and FSMS.
- Hands-on experience in quality inspection, sampling, documentation and CAPA.
- Good analytical, communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office/ERP will be an advantage.
