JOB DESCRIPTION – WAITER / WAITRESS

Position: Waiter / Waitress
Department: Food & Beverage / Service

Experience: 0–2 years preferred; Freshers can apply

Key Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide professional table service.
- Present menus and explain food and beverage items when required.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and organized.
- Check on guests during meals and respond to their requests.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth service.
- Clear tables and clean the dining/service area.
- Handle guest queries and complaints politely and report issues to the supervisor.
- Prepare and maintain service areas before and after shifts.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace standards.
- Assist with billing and payment collection when required.





Requirements

- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Pleasant personality and professional appearance.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Team-oriented, punctual, and disciplined.
- Previous hotel, restaurant, café, or hospitality experience is an advantage.
- Freshers with a positive attitude may also apply.
