Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible ECHO Technician with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience to perform echocardiography procedures and assist the cardiologist in providing accurate diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform 2D Echo, M-Mode, Colour Doppler and other echocardiography procedures as required.

- Prepare patients for ECHO procedures and explain the procedure appropriately.

- Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment safely and efficiently.

- Obtain clear and accurate cardiac images and measurements as per protocol.

- Assist the cardiologist during ECHO examinations.

- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of patient records and reports.

- Follow hospital protocols for patient safety, infection control and confidentiality.

- Perform routine checks of ECHO equipment and report technical issues promptly.

- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the ECHO room and equipment.

- Coordinate with doctors,



nurses and other departments for smooth patient care.

- Maintain skilled and courteous communication with patients and their attendants.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Diploma / Degree / Certification in ECHO / Cardiac Care / Cardiac Technology or a relevant field.

- Minimum 1 year of experience as an ECHO Technician.

- Practical knowledge of echocardiography procedures and equipment.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.

- Knowledge of basic computer operations and hospital software is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

- Attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good patient-handling skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as with a cardiology team.

- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

- Professional and compassionate approach towards patients.

Salary: Minimum Rs.15000/-(As per experience and hospital norms.)
