ob Description – Fabrication Welder (2G/3G/4G)

Position: Fabrication Welder – 2G/3G/4G
Department: Production / Fabrication
Industry: Trailer Chassis Manufacturing
Location: Chakan, Pune

Job Responsibilities

- Perform MIG/MAG welding on trailer chassis and structural components.
- Carry out welding in 2G, 3G and 4G positions as per job requirements.
- Weld MS/steel components as per drawings, welding procedures, and specifications.
- Ensure proper weld penetration, strength, appearance, and quality.
- Perform welding on chassis frames, cross members, brackets, and other structural parts.
- Check weld joints for defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut, and incomplete welding.
- Coordinate with fitters for proper alignment and tack welding before final welding.
- Use welding machines, grinders, and related tools safely.
- Follow production targets, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S at the workplace.

Required Skills & Experience





- 2–7 years of experience in fabrication welding.
- Hands-on experience in 2G/3G/4G welding positions.
- Experience in heavy fabrication, trailer chassis, automobile, or similar manufacturing preferred.
- Good knowledge of MIG/MAG welding and welding parameters.
- Ability to understand basic fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
- Knowledge of welding defects and basic corrective methods.

Qualification

- ITI – Welder / Fabrication or equivalent.
- Relevant practical experience may also be considered.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
