Meenaar Global Consultants LLP is seeking a Steel Engineer for full-time deployment at the GAIL Gas PMC Project in Saraikela.

The role involves supervision and monitoring of steel pipeline laying and associated construction activities, ensuring execution as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in CGD / pipeline / Oil & Gas projects, along with mandatory NDT Level-II certification.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor steel pipeline laying and associated construction activities at site.

Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings, procedures, specifications and project requirements.

Coordinate with contractors, clients and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution.

Monitor site progress, construction activities, welding quality and HSE compliance.

Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to applicable quality standards.

Coordinate NDT activities and review relevant inspection documentation.

Support hydrotesting, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

Maintain site records, inspection reports, progress reports and other project documentation.

Ensure compliance with applicable PNGRB, OISD and project-specific quality and safety requirements.





Identify and report site issues, deviations and execution concerns to the concerned Project Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

B.E./B.Tech in Engineering with minimum 2 years of relevant experience,

OR

Diploma in Engineering with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.

Mandatory: NDT Level-II Certification.

Relevant experience in CGD / Pipeline / Oil & Gas projects.

Experience in steel pipeline construction, welding inspection and site execution will be preferred.

Willingness to work full time at the deployed project site.
