The Junior Production and Maintenance Engineer will be pivotal in maintaining and improving the operational efficiency of our semiconductor device production lines. You will work closely with machine operators and senior engineers to troubleshoot equipment failures, optimize processes, and ensure the highest standards of quality and output are met.

- Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Equipment Reliability

Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems) on complex CNC/ASM and specialized semiconductor processing tools.

Preventative Maintenance (PM): Assisting in the scheduling, execution, and documentation of routine preventative maintenance tasks to minimize unplanned downtime.

Documentation: Accurately recording all maintenance activities, failures, and corrective actions in the equipment management system.

Spare Parts Management: Assisting with the inventory and procurement of critical spare parts.

II. Production Optimization & Support

Process Monitoring: Analyzing production data and equipment performance metrics (e.g., uptime, yield, throughput) to identify areas for improvement.

Standardization: Developing and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment operation and maintenance to ensure consistency and quality.

Operator Training: Providing technical support and basic training to machine operators on equipment operation and minor troubleshooting.

Quality Control: Investigating equipment-related quality issues and implementing engineering solutions to prevent recurrence.

Shift Pattern & Working Environment

- Working Hours: Full-time. Initial training will likely be during standard business hours, but the final role requires flexibility.
- Shift System:



While the core engineering team works primarily during day shifts, this role requires flexibility to be on call or work occasional shifts (including 8-hour rotating shifts similar to production) to support urgent maintenance needs and major projects.
- Workplace: Cleanroom manufacturing facility requiring strict adherence to safety and contamination control protocols.

What We're Looking For (Required Skills & Qualifications)

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical field. (Fresh Graduates are highly encouraged to apply.)
- Technical Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of electrical circuits, control systems (PLCs), mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Analysis Skills: Proficiency in using data analysis tools (e.g., Excel) for root cause analysis and performance tracking.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to approach technical problems logically and systematically.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documentation and technical reporting.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in standard engineering and office software.
