Palliative Care Doctor

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

Qualification

- MBBS from a recognized University.
- Valid registration with the Karnataka Medical Council (KMC)
- Certificate Course/Fellowship/Postgraduate qualification in Palliative Care from a recognized institution Experience
- 3- 5 years of experience in Palliative Care
- Demonstrated expertise in pain and symptom management, end-of-life care, communication of goals of care, and multidisciplinary team-based care.
- Experience in home-based/community palliative care services is preferred

Language Proficiency

Kannada & English

Job Profile

- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the planning, implementation and progressive expansion Palliative care project.
- Translate the mission strategy into annual workplans, priorities, timelines and measurable objectives.
- Lead,



coordinate and mentor the interdisciplinary team, ensuring clarity of roles, effective teamwork and regular performance review.
- Provide palliative care, including pain and symptom management, in outpatient, inpatient and home-care settings.
- Ensure the development and implementation of clinical protocols, referral pathways, care standards and documentation systems.
- Lead the design and delivery of palliative care training, mentoring, academic sessions and capacity-building programmes.
- Support the development of palliative care services and partnerships with government departments, hospitals, medical colleges and other institutions.
- Monitor service delivery, team performance, quality indicators and mission milestones, and recommend corrective action where required.
- Contribute technical inputs to proposals, budgets, reports, resource planning, evaluations and scale-up strategies.
- Represent the organization in relevant clinical and technical forums, within the authority delegated by the organization.
- Promote ethical, compassionate, person-centred care while ensuring confidentiality, qualified accountability and compliance with organisational standards.

Pay: Up to ₹150,000.00 per month
