Sr Developer

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, AWS Cloud, and Python development to support enterprise-scale healthcare analytics and data platform initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting cloud-based data solutions using Snowflake and AWS services. This role requires strong SQL expertise, data engineering skills, and the ability to work independently with onshore teams.

Key Responsibilities

Snowflake Development

- Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake-based data warehouse solutions.
- Build and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, tasks, and streams.
- Develop secure and scalable ELT/ETL pipelines.
- Implement Snowflake performance tuning and query optimization.
- Manage Snowflake security, role-based access controls, and data governance practices.
- Support data migration and modernization initiatives.

AWS Cloud Engineering

- Develop and maintain cloud-native data solutions on AWS.
- Work with AWS services including:
- S3
- Glue
- Lambda
- Athena
- CloudWatch
- IAM
- EventBridge
- Secrets Manager
- SNS/SQS

- Build automated ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows.
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and data pipeline issues.

Python Development

- Develop reusable Python frameworks and utilities.
- Build automation scripts for data ingestion,



validation, reconciliation, and monitoring.
- Create API integrations with internal and external systems.
- Implement logging, exception handling, and performance optimization.

Data Engineering & Analytics

- Develop scalable ETL/ELT frameworks.
- Work with structured and semi-structured data (JSON, XML, Parquet, CSV).
- Perform data quality validation and reconciliation.
- Create metadata-driven data processing solutions.
- Support reporting and analytics requirements.

Collaboration

- Work closely with business analysts, architects, product owners, and onshore teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
- Provide production support and root cause analysis.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
- Robust Snowflake SQL expert capable of performance tuning complex workloads.
- Hands-on AWS developer with Glue/Lambda/S3 expertise.
- Proficient Python programmer capable of building production-grade frameworks and automation.
- Able to lead technical discussions and provide solutions with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working directly with onshore architects, business stakeholders, and product teams.
