Job Overview

Techradiance is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Drone Trainer to conduct practical, hands-on drone technology training for school and college students.

The trainer will be responsible for teaching students the fundamentals of drones, drone assembly, electronics, flight controllers, programming/configuration, calibration, mission planning, troubleshooting, and safe flying practices. The role requires solid technical knowledge along with the ability to explain concepts in a simple and engaging manner.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct hands-on Drone Technology workshops, courses, and training programs for school and college students.
- Explain drone fundamentals, including:
- Types of drones and their applications
- Principles of flight
- Drone frame and mechanical structure
- Brushless motors and ESCs
- Propellers and power systems
- Li-Po batteries and battery safety
- Flight controllers
- Transmitter and receiver systems
- GPS, sensors, and telemetry
- Guide students in assembling and building drones from components.
- Teach wiring, component connections, configuration, and calibration.
- Provide practical training on flight controllers and drone configuration software.
- Introduce students to Mission Planner and autonomous flight concepts, wherever applicable.
- Conduct practical flying sessions, including take-off, landing, orientation, and basic maneuvering.
- Teach drone safety, pre-flight inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance.




- Guide college students in developing advanced drone-based projects and prototypes.
- Support students in preparing drone projects for exhibitions, competitions, hackathons, and championships.
- Prepare training content, presentations, practical activities, assignments, and project documentation.
- Maintain drone kits, components, batteries, tools, and training equipment.
- Ensure all practical sessions are conducted with proper safety procedures.
- Submit training reports, attendance, project updates, and student progress reports as required.
- Travel to schools and colleges for training assignments when required.

Required Technical Skills

The candidate should have practical knowledge of:

- Drone assembly and configuration
- Multirotor/Quadcopter technology
- Brushless Motors & ESCs
- Li-Po Batteries
- Flight Controllers
- Transmitter & Receiver
- GPS and basic drone sensors
- Drone calibration and troubleshooting
- Mission Planner or similar software
- Manual drone flying
- Basic electronics and soldering
- Basic programming/embedded systems knowledge
- Arduino/ESP32 or similar controllers will be an advantage
- Autonomous drone concepts will be an advantage

Educational Qualification

Preferred: B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Robotics,



Mechatronics, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Candidates with strong practical experience in drone development, robotics, UAV projects, or drone training may also be considered.

Experience

- Prior experience in drone development, drone training, robotics, or UAV projects is preferred.
- Experience conducting workshops for school or college students will be an advantage.
- Freshers with excellent practical drone knowledge and strong communication skills may also apply.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should:

- Have strong hands-on technical skills.
- Be comfortable working with students of different age groups.
- Explain technical concepts in simple language.
- Have good communication and presentation skills.
- Be willing to travel for school/college training assignments.
- Be comfortable handling practical projects and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Be responsible for the safe handling of drones, batteries, tools, and related equipment.
- Have an interest in emerging technologies, robotics, UAVs, AI, and automation.

Preferred Additional Skills

Knowledge of Python, Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, computer vision, AI-based drones, FPV systems, drone mapping, telemetry, or autonomous navigation will be an added advantage.
